Overview

In-game description
A Sewing kit. Used to make advanced clothing.

Count your sewing kits before you plan anyone's armour. A metal chest plate eats eight, the road sign jacket and its kilt two each, a hazmat suit two, and even a bed wants a pair. More than fifty recipes take them, from hoodies to parachutes, so a spare never sits idle for long.

Early in a wipe they come from road barrels and crates. Crafting one needs a Level 3 workbench, 20 cloth and three rope, and rope cannot be crafted at all, so it has to come from loot too. Every kit you make eats three coils you found on the road.

Say your duo opens the box and finds eight. One chest plate for whoever takes the fights, or two road sign sets so both of you walk out armoured? Early on the two sets usually win, and the plate waits until the kits pile up.

Watch out

Never feed kits to the recycler for cloth. You get back about half the cloth and a rope or two. Break down the clothes nobody wears instead, since many of them hand kits back.
