Overview
This allows you to craft and unlock items requiring workbench level 3
Raiding with explosives you make yourself starts here. Until a group owns this bench, every stone wall it opens costs satchels or looted boom; afterwards it can craft its own C4 and rockets. What the tier holds, in the order most groups care about:
- Raid tools: C4, rockets and the explosives both are made from. The launcher already sits at Level 2; the rockets do not.
- Late guns: the assault rifle and the bolt action.
- Defence: the armored door, the metal facemask and the metal chest plate.
The price is steep. Five advanced blueprint fragments, 100 high quality metal and a thousand metal fragments, crafted at a Level 2 workbench. The HQM is a few evenings at the furnace. The fragments are the real gate, because they come from loot, and recycling a spare bench never gives all five back.
So does a solo need one? Often not. A solo can live off the Level 2 tier, loot or buy an AK and raid with satchels. A group that farms every day should plan for it early, since raiding without it costs far more sulfur and time. Once it stands, keep it deep inside the base: it covers Level 1 and 2 crafts too, and losing it means another fragment hunt.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
