Surplus Workbench Upgrade

It earns its place when a bench is crafting all evening anyway and you want a second trickle of loot out of it. The game text gives every craft at this bench a 20% chance to produce a random surplus part, and those parts go into special alternate recipes.

Here is the honest bit: our data does not list the surplus parts or those alternate recipes yet, so these tables cannot tell you what a part is worth. Treat the upgrade as a bet until you have seen what the recipes on your server actually give.

Nor can you buy into it. Whatever the scrap, gears and metal springs in its recipe say, the upgrade cannot be crafted or researched, so it only comes from loot or a trade. If you hold a spare, recycling it hands back some of those gears and springs, and springs turn into pump shotguns that win fights tonight.

If you find one, put it on the bench that runs big batches every night, where a 20% roll comes up most often.
