About raiding in Rust

Pick the walls, doors and deployables you need to break, set how many of each, and the calculator adds the raid up for you: the cheapest mix of explosives with the sulfur it costs, and what each tool would cost on its own.

How to use the raid calculator

  1. Find a target in the table: use the tabs for walls, doors and hatches, windows, high walls, defences and base loot, or search by name.
  2. Press + to add it to your raid, as many times as you need to break it.
  3. Read Your raid: the cheapest set first, then every tool that can take all your picks by itself, cheapest first.
  4. Copy the link to share the plan with your team. The address keeps your picks, so it opens with the same raid.

What do the numbers mean?

Each count is how many of that explosive a target at full health takes. The sulfur is what crafting them costs, counted in whole crafts, so the total is what you actually need in your box. Explosive 5.56 ammo can show a range instead of one number.

Cheapest set or one tool?

The cheapest set takes each target with its cheapest explosive, so a raid often mixes C4, rockets and satchels. If you only have one kind, look at each tool alone: it lists the tools that destroy every target you picked and what each costs.

The cheapest choice is made among the raid kit, what you craft to raid on foot: C4, rockets (high velocity and incendiary too), satchel charges, beancan grenades, explosive 5.56 ammo and F1 grenades. Torpedoes, MLRS rockets, siege weapons and other tools appear on each target's page under other ways, but are never counted as cheapest.

Why is there one page per wall grade?

Every building block of a grade has the same health, so a stone wall, foundation, floor, doorway or half wall takes the same explosives, and skins do not change it. That is why walls have one page per grade: wooden, stone, sheet metal and armored.

Every target has its own page

Open a target from the table for every tool that can destroy it, its health, and answers to the questions raiders ask about it.
