Overview
A ladder will help you climb walls in any base.
A ladder takes you where the builder did not want you. Raiders lean one against a high wall to drop into a compound, climb from the yard onto a roof to look for a weak hatch, or reach a window that sits too high to jump to. Bases tucked into rocks and cliffs get the same treatment.
It works because, unlike almost everything else you build, a ladder can go up inside someone else's Tool Cupboard range. So a ring of high stone walls slows a foot raid down but never stops a ladder. Defenders who spot one going up shoot the climber or break the ladder before the second guy is on it.
Tip
Carry two when you raid. The first one tends to get shot down, and a spare costs only 300 wood and three rope at a Level 1 workbench.
At home it has a quieter job. Every ladder hatch, square, triangle or armoured, eats one in its recipe, so keep a couple in a box once you start building floors you climb through.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
