Overview
An explosive propane-filled keg, devastating to structures. Can be placed or used as a projectile in a catapult.
Bring propane when the plan is a hole in a wall. Rocks and firebombs make life unpleasant for the people inside, but the keg is the catapult round that actually hurts the building.
A catapult is big and impossible to hide, so this is a group raid. One person aims, everyone else watches the roofs, because a defender with a rifle will happily pick off your crew between shots. Solo, it rarely pays off.
You can also place the bomb by hand right at the wall. It only goes off after it takes damage, so you hit it and step back, which makes it a crude breaching charge. It is clumsy next to C4 if you have some, and carrying a keg up to an online base is a good way to die.
Every bomb eats an empty propane tank. Plenty of players recycle those early for scrap, so if siege raids are part of your plan, start keeping them instead. And when your group has more people than sulfur, look at the battering ram as well.
