Overview

In-game description
Ammunition for a Rocket Launcher. A short to medium range self-propelled, unguided rocket which deals large splash damage on impact.

Rockets are for the parts of a raid you can't walk up to. A high wall, a door three floors up, a peek tower full of shooters: a rocket launcher puts damage there without anyone standing at the wall.

They are rarely the cheapest way through a wall, though. When you can safely reach the door or wall, C4 usually gets more done for the same sulfur, so a lot of groups place C4 at ground level and save rockets for upper floors and for splash on defenders. That splash is the real strength in an online raid, since one good rocket on a roof clears it fast.

Unlocking them is a late-wipe milestone. You need a Level 3 workbench and a steady supply of explosives, which means a lot of sulfur farmed and cooked before the first volley.

So check the stack before you leave. High velocity rockets look similar in the inventory but barely scratch a wall; they are for vehicles and players. Bringing a box of HVs to a stone base is a mistake most of us have made once.
