Overview
Ammunition for a 40mm Grenade Launcher.
Pull these out when the people shooting at you are behind something. HE rounds from the multiple grenade launcher arc over walls and land on roofs, so a group sitting on high ground during an online raid suddenly has nowhere comfortable to stand.
Defence is where they shine. Your base is getting hit, the raiders are stacked behind a barricade waiting for their rocket launcher guy, and a few HE rounds dropped into that pile break the whole push. For actually opening walls, rockets and charges are the tools people reach for.
Watch out
Splash does not care who fired it. Shooting at someone two metres in front of you, or at a doorframe you are standing in, is the classic way to kill yourself with your own launcher.
You can't craft or research them. A stack comes off heavy scientists at oil rigs and Bradley, and every round you waste on a lone naked is one less for the next raid. Some players keep a few smoke grenades on hand and switch to them to cover a reposition between volleys. When the HE runs dry, 40mm shotgun rounds keep the launcher useful at close range.
