Characteristics
Overview
A Cheap door to secure your base. Its vulnerability to fire and weak explosive resistance makes the door a temporary solution to securing your base. Due to its flaws you should look at upgrading to a higher tier door such as Sheet Metal. The Wooden Door can take two kinds of locks the basic Key Lock and the Code Lock. To pick up the door, remove any locks and open, hold down the E (USE) key and select 'Pickup'.
They are there for the look: swinging saloon doors from the Frontier theme, straight out of a western. The shortname marks them as a double door, so they go where the wood double door goes, and at 200 wood with no bench they even cost less.
Do not read much into the game text. It is copied word for word from the wooden door, lock advice and all, and tells you nothing about this item. They cannot be researched either: their blueprint is tied to owning the item on Steam.
Hang them on a bar room or a trading corner inside your compound. Being wood, they will not hold up to fire or explosives any better than a plain wooden door. Anything with loot behind it deserves a real door from the construction list.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
