Overview
Collects drinkable water from the air via rain and dew. Can be connected to other entities to provide water, 20ml a second.
Set it on a roof or in the yard when your base sits nowhere near a river. It gathers rain and dew by itself, and you can take the water out of it by hand or run a pipe from it to whatever needs feeding.
Most people build one for farming. A row of large planter boxes drinks more than anyone wants to carry up in buckets, so you connect the catcher with a hose and let it water them while you are out roaming. In a dry spell it fills slowly, and a big farm can still drain it, so heavy farmers put up two or three.
The cost is what decides between this and the small water catcher. The small one needs only a Level 1 bench, one tarp and a quarter of the metal, which suits the first days of a wipe. The large one wants a Level 2 bench, 200 metal fragments and two tarps, and in return it holds and collects a lot more water.
