Characteristics
Overview
A surface to air rocket site. Requires 25 electricity to function.
The day a minicopter starts dropping people on your roof, you will want one of these. It fires guided missiles at aircraft around your base: minicopters, scrap helicopters, hot air balloons. Against anyone on foot it does nothing.
Two things keep it alive. It eats SAM ammo, and every missile takes gunpowder, a metal pipe and a Level 2 bench, so keep a box of them stocked. And it needs 25 power for as long as you want it watching the sky.
- Place it high, on a roof with an open view of the sky.
- Run power to it. A small generator puts out 40 by its own description, which covers it with room to spare.
- If you run a large solar panel instead, add a large rechargeable battery so it does not go dark at night.
- Load the missiles and check that it shows as powered.
Nobody can craft or research the site itself, so the high quality metal listed for it is never spent: it comes only from loot or a trade. Once you have one, the real running cost is the missiles.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
