Overview
A garage door that rolls up and down.
Hang it where the loot is. Once a Level 2 bench is down, most groups swap the inner airlock door and the loot room door for garage doors, because it is the strongest door you can make without high quality metal.
It does not go into a doorway. It fills a wall frame and rolls up out of the way, so plan those frames when you design the base, not after. The recipe is 300 frags and two gears; gears come from crates and from recycling, so a few road runs in you usually have enough for every door.
Pros
Cons
- Takes noticeably more explosives than a sheet metal door
- No HQM, unlike the armored door
- Takes a code lock like any door
- Opens and closes slowly, so a roamer can slip in behind you
- Still weaker than an armored door against a serious raid
- Needs a wall frame, which is easy to forget in the plan
That slow roll is the thing to respect. You come home with a roamer on your tail and wait for the door instead of slamming it. Plenty of groups wire a door controller to an RF receiver and open up from horseback before they arrive. Pick a frequency nobody else uses, though: whoever finds it opens your door too.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time.
