Characteristics
Overview
A sturdy fence for penning animals.
Build it once your group starts keeping horses. Three or four of them parked around a hitch and trough by the base soon turn into a crowd of animals on your doorstep, and a ring of this fence turns that into a proper paddock with one way in.
The price is easy: 250 wood a piece and no workbench. A pen of eight pieces comes to 2,000 wood, half of a single section of high external wooden wall. Leave a gap for an animal fence gate so you can bring horses in and out without breaking anything.
Do not mistake it for defence. It is a low wooden rail you can see over, built to hold animals rather than people, and it slows a horse thief about as much as a garden fence would. So the real protection for a horse is still a wall, or simply not leaving it out on the road.
Before you log off, stock the trough inside the pen. The game says a horse you dismount at it stays healthy and fed, and that is most of what a pen is for.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
