Overview
A simple electric switch.
Put one between your power and anything you want to shut off by hand. The usual first job is the auto turret over your door: a neighbour comes over to trade, you flip the switch, and the turret stays quiet until he leaves.
- Run a wire with the wire tool from your battery or generator into the switch's power input.
- Run a second wire from its output to the turret, the lights or a splitter.
- Look at it and press E to turn the line on or off.
It costs a hundred metal fragments and fifteen scrap to research, so there is no reason to save on them. Give each group of lights its own switch, and a long night never drains a small rechargeable battery on decoration.
Its one limit is that you have to stand next to it. If you want to flip a line while you are away from the base, that is the job of the smart switch.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
