Overview
A spinning siren light
A beam turning in the corner of your eye gets through even when your headset is full of gunfire and Discord. That is the siren light's job: show the people inside that a sensor fired, without telling the whole street. It gives light and nothing else, so for noise you would wire an audio alarm next to it.
- Aim a laser detector across the roof or the gap behind your compound wall and feed it from your battery.
- Run its output into the input that starts a timer, with the timer's power input on the same battery.
- Wire the timer's output to the siren with the wire tool and place the siren where the group sits, the craft room or the core.
Straight from the laser, the siren only spins while someone stands in the beam, and a raider running across the roof is through it in a second. The timer keeps it turning long enough for somebody to look up from the workbench.
It is a Level 1 craft for 120 metal fragments, so one per floor costs next to nothing.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
