Overview

In-game description
Ignites nearby objects such as furnaces and campfires when power is received

Picture coming home with a full bag of sulfur ore, filling three large furnaces and walking from one to the next pressing the same key. An igniter between them does that walk for you. When power reaches it, it lights what stands nearby, and its own text names furnaces and campfires.

Wire it from your power source through a switch, and that switch becomes the start button for the whole smelting room. A regular furnace or a camp fire in a cooking corner lights the same way. Put a timer behind a button instead, and one press by the door gives it a short burst on your way in.

Watch out

It only lights things. Turning a furnace off is still your job, and a furnace burning on with nothing in it eats wood for nothing.

No workbench, seventy-five metal fragments and fifteen scrap to research make it one of the cheapest comforts among the electrical parts. The row gives it durability, and players report it wears down as it works, so expect to swap one out now and then.
