Overview
A simple electric button.
Press it and power goes through for a short moment, then it cuts again. That pulse is what separates it from a switch, which stays where you left it, and it decides where a button belongs: anywhere you want something to happen once, not to stay on.
The favourite use is an inner door without a code. Put a door controller on a garage door between the furnaces and the loot room, and wire the button into a timer that feeds the controller. One press and the door stays up for as long as the timer is set, then drops behind you. Your hands are full of ore on that run, and nobody wants to type four digits like that.
Watch out
Anyone can press a button. Mount it where only your group can reach it, never on the outside wall next to the door it opens.
Seventy-five metal fragments and fifteen scrap to learn make it the cheapest trigger you can put on a wall. A doorbell at the compound gate, a light in the box room, a test button for a new circuit: it does all of them.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
