Overview
Medium strength door, vulnerable to explosives.
Use it to close a wide wall frame, the same opening a garage door fills; a single door will not go there. It costs 200 metal fragments, no bench and nothing to research, only 50 frags more than the single sheet metal door. As far as players can tell, it holds about as long against explosives, so the extra frags buy width and nothing else.
Sometimes width is worth it. You and a teammate come back from a sulfur run with a roamer close behind, and both of you are inside before he reaches the porch, with nobody stuck behind the other in a narrow door.
A code lock goes on it like on any door. Later the frame gets either a garage door at a Level 2 bench or the armored double door at Level 3, which costs five more HQM than the single armored one. So if the base is still a sketch, ask yourself whether you need the width at all.
