Characteristics
Overview
Colored, animated, powered Lights that can be deployed point by point to light up your base.
December decor that moves. The game's own text calls these colored, animated and powered, and that last word is the whole difference from the plain Christmas lights, which glow with no wiring at all. The deluxe set stays dark until a line reaches it.
So treat it like any small lamp. Hang the strand point by point around the room, then run one wire from a small rechargeable battery with the wire tool. Fifty metal fragments make ten pieces, with no bench and nothing to research, so the cost is the wiring, not the craft.
The usual spot is the main room, wound around a Christmas tree where the group spends its evenings. It gives no heat and no protection. If the battery already feeds turrets, put the lights on their own switch, or the blinking eats power you will want during a night raid.
Like the rest of the Christmas decor, it belongs to the holiday season.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
