Overview
Can be placed in a water source to collect that water while powered. Can be connected to other Water entities.
Put it where the water is, give it power, and everything hosed up behind it stops depending on the weather. A catcher fills slowly in a dry spell. A pump keeps going as long as the electricity does.
What it brings up depends on where it stands. In the sea you get salt water, and that goes through a powered water purifier before it reaches anything you care about. In a river or lake the water should already be fresh, so an inland base needs one box fewer in the chain than a coastal one.
- Place it in the water source you want to draw from.
- Run power to it with the wire tool.
- Connect its output with a hose to the purifier, a barrel or the planters.
- Use a fluid splitter when one line has to feed several planters.
The recipe has a snag for a fresh group: one gear next to the frags and wood, at a Level 2 bench. Early on gears only come from crates and the recycler, so hold one back for the pump rather than feeding every gear you find to the recycler.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
