Overview
Splits a fluid connection into three separate connections.
One supply, three destinations. Your water pump on the shore pushes a single hose up to the base, and you have three rows of large planter boxes that all want to drink. Put the splitter where the line arrives, run a hose from each output to a row, and every row is on the same supply.
Outputs can go to planters directly or to a sprinkler that covers a whole cluster. Splitters also chain: one output into a second splitter gives you more branches, though every extra branch shares the same water.
Watch out
Splitting does not make more water. A water barrel pushes slowly through a hose by its own game text, and cut three ways it can leave the far planters dry. Split a pump or a well-fed line, not a trickle, and walk to the last planter once to check it is wet.
It costs 75 metal fragments at a Level 1 bench, needs no power and takes 15 scrap to research. Make two while you are at it. Farms grow faster than plans.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
