Overview
This allows you to modify modular vehicles
You found a three-module car rusting by the road, the engine half dead and a flatbed on the back you never wanted. Drive it home, roll it onto the lift, and now you can pull modules, slot new ones in and swap the parts inside the engine module. No other spot in the game lets you edit a car.
The lift is big and sits on the floor of your base, so plan a garage around it: a wide door, room to drive in straight, and walls between the car and the roamers who would love to take it. Car locks are set up from the lift's menu too, and a locked car behind a garage door lasts a lot longer than one parked in the yard.
It costs one gear, five HQM and 200 frags at a Level 2 workbench. Research takes 60 scrap, twice what the electric furnaces and the water pump ask. Early in a wipe that gear is the part that slows you down, since it comes from crates and the recycler.
Tip
Do not drive a wreck you will never use straight to the recycler. Strip it on the lift first: a spare high quality piston or a module you can swap onto your good car is worth more than the scrap.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

Recycling
