Overview

In-game description
Single module large engine.

No engine, no car. A cockpit gives you a wheel to hold, but on most cars longer than two slots the power comes from this module, and it costs little: some frags and three high quality metal at a Level 2 bench.

The module alone is only a block. It runs on engine parts, and those decide how the car pulls. A low quality carburetor and the other low parts get you moving on day one; high quality spark plugs and the rest of the Level 3 set make the same car noticeably quicker. Parts wear as you drive, so look at them after a long trip.

  1. Roll the car onto a Modular Car Lift and attach the module in a free slot.
  2. Fill every part slot. Any quality will start it.
  3. Put low grade fuel in the tank and drive.

Long cars with a camper or two passenger modules get heavy. If yours crawls up every hill, a second engine module often does more than better parts in the first one.
