Overview
This switch will allow passthrough based on a random number. Each time the SET input receives power it will roll true or false to allow passthrough
Reach for it when a circuit should surprise somebody, you included. It sits in a line like a normal switch, power in and power out, but nobody flips it. Each time its SET input gets power, it rolls true or false, and only on true does the power pass.
The easy build is a gamble at a trading post. A button outside the shop feeds SET, the output runs to a flasher light over the counter, and a customer who presses it either wins a discount or walks off with nothing. Event builders use the same idea for a maze with doors that may or may not open.
In a real base it does little. A turret or a door that might get power is a liability, so keep it away from anything you rely on. It costs seventy-five metal fragments, but a Level 2 workbench first.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
