Overview
A flicker-free fluorescent light.
Big rooms are where it earns its spot. A crafting floor with several benches, a wall of boxes and a furnace line looks more even under a row of tubes than under a few hanging bulbs, and the game promises the tubes do not flicker.
On paper you gain nothing over the plain ceiling light, because it is a skin of it: you learn the ceiling light for 15 scrap, craft it for 50 metal fragments at a Level 1 bench and pick the tubes if you own the skin. So it is a taste choice, and a fair one: a base built in the industrial style simply reads cleaner with tubes everywhere. Its sibling, the fluorescent light, is a separate item, and its blueprint is tied to owning it on Steam.
Wire it like any lamp with the wire tool. On a battery base, put a timer in front of the crafting floor. A big lit room with windows shows every roamer at night that the base is lived in, and it burns charge while you sleep.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
