Characteristics
Overview
A wire of small fairy bulbs, can be deployed point by point to light up your base.
A vending machine on the road outside your compound sells more when people can find it after dark. Frame it in fairy lights and the little bulbs show from a distance, so a player walking past at night sees there is a shop here, not just another wall. That is about the most useful thing this item does.
Otherwise it is decor. Next to the bulb string lights the recipe reads the same, 50 metal fragments for ten, and only the bench differs: fairy lights want a Level 1 workbench. The bulbs are smaller, so they suit outlining a doorframe, a window or the corner around a bed better than lighting a room.
Like the bulbs, they hang point by point and only glow with power on the line. Wire them from the battery with the wire tool. And keep in mind that a lit stall also tells raiders someone lives close by.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
