Overview
A large speaker to play recorded cassette tapes which can also stream audio from the internet. Open the settings to change audio options.
Music in the core while you sort a farm run, a station playing at the shop window, a recorded tape greeting visitors at the gate: that is what this box is for. It is placed, not carried, and it plays either a cassette or an internet stream picked in its settings.
As far as players know, the placed version needs power before it plays, so put it on a line from your small rechargeable battery or whatever already feeds the base. Its real strength is the audio output. Run a wire with the wire tool to a connected speaker in the next room and the same sound comes out there, and more speakers carry it around the compound.
Tapes come from the cassette recorder, so you can play your own voice as well as songs. If you only want music on a roam, the portable boom box needs no wiring at all.
Watch out
Sound travels. A boom box playing in an outer room tells every roamer passing at night that somebody is home, and roughly where.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
