Characteristics
Overview
A selection of bones that were “acquired” for their acoustic attributes. Play a lullaby for your camp with these soothing tones.
Back from a night of hunting, you empty your pockets into the box and the pile of bone fragments is bigger than ever. Arrows and knives were made long ago, and nobody wears bone armour after the first days. Fifty of those spare bones become a xylobone.
You need a Level 1 workbench, and there is nothing to research. Nothing else goes into the recipe, so it costs you no metal or wood at all. That makes it the one instrument a hunter pays for entirely out of leftovers. Every player can craft it from the start, too, so nobody in the band is left without an instrument.
It has no effect on anything. If the pile is still huge afterwards, bone armor for a fresh teammate is the other sensible sink.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
