Portable Boom Box

Holding music means holding nothing else. This is the carried cousin of the Boom Box: no power line, no speakers, just a radio in your hands that plays a tape or an internet stream. Left click starts and stops it, right click opens the settings.

So the place for it is somewhere nobody can shoot you. Picture Outpost on a busy evening: your duo is at the vending machines, you lean on the wall by the recycler with a stream playing, and fresh spawns stop to listen instead of running past. Out on a PvP roam the same song tells everyone within earshot where you are, and you still have to swap to your gun before you can answer.

Tapes come from the cassette recorder. A medium cassette holds a proper greeting, enough for a street-corner ad for your shop. The craft is 120 metal fragments at a Level 1 bench with nothing to research, cheap enough that losing one to a roamer barely stings.
