Overview
Hand made beehive, place a nucleus inside to raise your own bees and produce honeycomb. Happy bees will make honeycomb more quickly.
Honey at home is the point. Drop a beehive nucleus inside and the bees start producing honeycomb for you, with no wild hive to hunt down across the map. An empty hive does nothing at all, so do not craft one before you have a nucleus or at least know where one will come from.
The box itself is cheap: a Level 1 bench, some wood and one piece of sheet metal. The nucleus is the slow part. Extract wild comb by hand rather than cooking it, because only extraction has a chance to give you one.
Tip
Picture a farm base with a row of planters along one wall. Set the hive right beside them. Happy bees work faster, and from what players report, crops growing nearby are part of what keeps them happy.
What comes out is comb, and a furnace turns comb into a jar of honey. Eat it for hunger and a bit of radiation, or save two jars for a medical honey bandage. A solo rarely needs more than one hive; a group running a farm can keep several busy.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
