Characteristics
Overview
Deployable wooden ramp cobbled together from recycled doors, probably sturdy enough. Unfolds for boarding enemy vessels.
Your crew walks across it onto another boat's deck, which beats trading cannonballs at range once you get alongside. Its own text says it unfolds for boarding enemy vessels, so it is the close-in partner of a cannon: the gun softens the other boat, the ramp gets you onto it.
It is a boat piece first, part of the same kit as the hull from the boat building station. The cost is low: 250 wood and two ropes at a Level 1 bench, plus 15 scrap for the blueprint. Rope is the slow part: nobody can craft it, so every coil comes out of crates and the recycler.
Watch out
A ramp does not care whose boots are on it. While it is down, the other crew can walk onto your deck as easily as you walked onto theirs, so leave someone with a shotgun at your end.
The usual moment: their boat has stopped over a dive spot, anchor down, two people under water. You pull alongside, drop the ramp and clear the deck before they surface.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
