Overview
A deployable building station, creates a stable workspace on the water to build or edit your floating wooden refuge.
Place it on the water when you want a boat that is yours, built to your plan, instead of whatever drifts along the coast. It gives you a steady workspace on the waves, and the hull you lay out there can be reworked later from the same spot. The tool you build with is the Boat Building Plan; the station is where it gets used.
- Craft the station and the plan. Both rows ask for a Level 1 workbench.
- Set the station down in sheltered water off your stretch of coast.
- Equip the plan, right-click for its options and build the hull.
- Fit a steering wheel, then something to move you: a sail early, a small boat engine once you have a Level 2 bench, gears and high quality metal.
The awkward part is the tarp. You cannot craft one at any bench: tarps come from loot, the recycler or trade, and every sail wants another, so early on you go hunting for them.
Picture a base on a cliff above a bay while a clan camps the only road inland. A boat built here lets you farm the shoreline and come home to a beach nobody watches.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
