Overview
A large neon sign!
A clan tag across the front of a compound, lit all night, tells the server one thing: someone lives here and wants you to know. That is the large neon sign's job. Its panel fits a whole name, and once it has power the paint glows, so the huge wooden sign that does the same job by day vanishes at dusk while this one does not.
Power is the real cost, not the 250 fragments. A sign that matters only at night is a natural fit for a large solar panel charging a large rechargeable battery by day, with the sign drawing from the battery after dark. Wired straight to the panel, it goes out exactly when you want it lit.
Watch out
A bright name on the outer wall also tells raiders where an active base is. If your group is small and the server is busy, keep the big sign for the shop and leave the main base in the dark.
For moving letters, the animated large sign asks for high quality metal and a Level 2 bench on top.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
