Characteristics
Overview
A makeshift Barbeque. You can cook significant amounts of food with this.
Cooking a whole hunt in one go is the reason to place one. You come back from the hills with a bear and two deer in your pockets, and a camp fire keeps you standing there feeding it a few pieces at a time. The grill takes the whole pile, and the game itself says you can cook significant amounts of food on it.
It burns wood like any fire and leaves charcoal behind, so a grill running in the base also tops up your gunpowder stock a little. It needs no workbench, and every player knows the recipe from the start, so there is nothing to research.
Watch out
Cooked meat keeps cooking. Take your raw bear meat off as soon as it is done, or you end up with a stack of burnt bear meat that feeds you far worse.
The camp fire still has a job. It gives warmth and light and costs only wood, so that is what you drop on the beach in the first minutes. The grill belongs in the base, once you have a roof, a door and a habit of hunting.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
