A beautiful hand crafted purple egg with gold lace, a miniature offshore monument is contained inside.
Your group is back from the rig with full crates and nobody dead. A run like that deserves a souvenir, and the purple egg carries exactly the right one under its gold lace: an offshore platform in miniature.
Put it where everyone walks past. Salvaged shelves in the hallway show what sits on them, and next to a large hunting trophy the corridor turns into a small hall of fame. It costs two HQM and does nothing else, so you place it for the story, not for stats.
One mix-up is easy to make: the amethyst egg is violet too. Open both and look at the scene. The excavator belongs to the amethyst shell, the platform to this one. Both cost the same, so pick by the run you want to remember.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
