Overview
A golden star to top off your Christmas Tree
The finishing piece. Once the branches carry baubels and whatever else the clan has found, the gold star goes on top of the Christmas tree, and the tree finally looks done. Its game text promises nothing beyond that.
Getting one is the hard part. Nobody can craft or research it, whatever recipe in metal fragments you see listed, and the same goes for the tree lights. A star comes from loot or a trade, so a fresh duo with a bare tree may wait a while for it.
Some players expect a fully dressed tree to pay out in presents. Nothing the game shows for the tree or its ornaments says so, so hang the star for the look and count on nothing else. When the decor comes down, a recycler returns part of the metal with some scrap.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
