Tree Lights

Of the Christmas lights in the game, only this set is an ornament for the tree itself. It goes onto the Christmas tree like the other ornaments, while the plain Christmas lights are for roof lines and walls.

Wiring is the usual worry. Neither the item's data nor its game text mentions power, unlike the deluxe Christmas lights, whose text calls them powered and which stay dark until a battery feeds them. So treat these as an ornament, not an electrical job.

Nobody can craft or research them, whatever the listed metal fragments suggest, so like the star they come from loot or a trade. In the recycler they give back the most scrap of all the tree ornaments, though that is not why you pick them up. Hang them, enjoy a glowing tree in a dark base, and recycle them in January.
