Overview

In-game description
Splits an industrial connection into three separate connections.

One ore box, three large furnaces, and until now only the one you filled by hand was burning. That is the splitter's job: one source has to reach several machines. Put it after the conveyor, run a pipe to each furnace, and the ore spreads across all three.

The order matters. The box gets a storage adaptor, a pipe runs to the industrial conveyor, and only after that comes the splitter. The conveyor does the moving; the splitter just shares out what arrives.

Tip

The splitter has no filters of its own. Set them on the conveyor before it, or everything in the box, the frags you already smelted included, gets shared out to the furnaces too.

When the same yard needs the opposite move, several sources joined into one line, that is the industrial combiner. Both cost 75 metal fragments at a Level 1 bench and 15 scrap to research.
