Overview
A large pot that can convert organic matter into fuel.
Read its one line of game text before you build it: a large pot that converts organic matter into fuel. Fuel, not power. The name says generator, yet nothing in the description mentions wires or an output, so treat it as a fuel maker until you have seen it run on your server.
That makes it a cousin of the composter more than of anything electrical. Both take farm leftovers; the composter turns them into fertilizer, this pot into fuel. If what comes out is low grade fuel, it could spare you a lot of fat and cloth later in the wipe. Which leftovers it accepts and how fast it works are not in our data.
For actual electricity the known answer stays the small generator, which by its own text runs on low grade fuel and puts out 40 power, at the price of a Level 2 bench, gears and high quality metal. The pot sits much lower: a Level 1 workbench, frags, wood and 30 scrap to research.
So if your pumpkin farm keeps leaving spare crops in a box, drop a stack in on a quiet evening and see what comes out before you plan anything around it.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
