Characteristics
Overview
A pumpkin you can carve any design you'd like into and light up at night. Requires wood as a fuel source.
Carving your own face, logo or clan tag into a lantern is the whole point. One pumpkin and a second of crafting with no bench make one, and the game says you can carve any design you like into it, then light it up at night.
Light needs fuel, and its text names wood. Put a little in before dark or it stays a hollow vegetable. The ready-made happy and angry jack o'lanterns cost two pumpkins and come with their faces fixed, so this one is cheaper and the only one that shows your own work.
Picture October on a busy server: you carve a grinning skull above your door and the neighbours know at once whose base it is. That is all it does. It defends nothing, and the recycler hands the pumpkin back only by chance.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
