Characteristics
Overview
A small planter with enough room to plant 3 seeds.
Three plants without spending a single tarp: that is the whole pitch. The game gives it room for three seeds, the same as a small planter box, but where the box wants tarp and wood, the tub wants 100 metal fragments and nothing else.
The typical case: your furnaces have left a box full of frags, but every tarp you found already went into the big planters. A couple of tubs fill the corner of the greenhouse without another loot run for tarps.
For a real farm it is the wrong tool. A large planter box holds nine seeds, while three tubs for the same nine cost 300 frags. The minecart planter is smaller still: the same frags, two seeds.
One more thing: it cannot be researched. If it is not in your crafting menu, scrap will not put it there, and the small planter box does the same job.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
