Characteristics
Overview
A triangle planter with enough room to plant 4 seeds.
Fill the triangles with it. A base on triangle foundations, or a greenhouse with angled ends, leaves spaces where no square planter fits, and this box turns that dead floor into four more plants. Hemp in the corners of a honeycombed farm room is the usual picture.
Per tarp it sits between the other two. A small planter box gives you three seeds for a tarp, this one four, and a large planter box four and a half, since it takes two tarps for nine. Wood is rarely short by the time you farm, so the tarp is what you are really counting. On a square floor, large boxes still win.
It needs no bench and costs 15 scrap at the research table. Water, light and soil work as in any planter: a box in a dark corner stays poor whatever its shape.
Tip
Start the corners with hemp seeds. Cloth always finds a use, and four hemp plants tucked into otherwise wasted space cost your farm no floor at all.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
