Characteristics
Overview
Displays a set of clothing, quickly remove items off your player onto the Mannequin. Goes by Manny.
Manny is a wardrobe with a body. He wears a set of clothing on display, and the game lets you move what you have on straight onto him, so a whole outfit changes hands without dragging pieces slot by slot.
That makes it a kit stand. Keep a radiation set built around a hazmat suit on one mannequin and your roam gear on another, and swap before you head out. Stand one next to your sleeping bag, and after a death you respawn, walk two steps and get dressed instead of rummaging through boxes while someone may still be outside.
Every player knows the recipe from the start and there is no workbench to build first, only some wood and metal fragments, so it fits even a small early base.
Watch out
Clothes on a mannequin are loot like any other. Raiders who reach the room take the outfit as easily as they empty a box, so keep your best set deeper in the base.
