Overview
Vertical barrel to store industrial materials
Corners are where it earns its place. Standing upright, it fills the gap a box leaves, and next to the horizontal industrial barrel it lets a loot room follow its walls without dead space.
Under the paint it is the plain vertical storage barrel: the same 75 metal fragments and 300 wood, no bench, no research. The bamboo barrel shares that recipe too and says outright it cannot be locked, so do not expect this one to take a lock until you have tried it yourself.
Its real use is a themed build. A duo going for a workshop look on day two lines one wall with half height industrial shelves, drops two of these barrels in the corners and gets a room that reads as one set. Keep it in the core, behind your own doors, because anyone who reaches that room can open it.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
