Overview
A remote controlled drone operated from the Computer station with a limited range. Easily damaged from impacts.
Fly it when you want eyes somewhere you would rather not stand. You sit at a computer station inside your base and steer the drone over the roof, the road or the compound next door, and nobody gets a shot at you while you look.
The usual moment: explosions start somewhere close at night. Instead of climbing onto the roof to find out whose base is going, you take off, see who is raiding with what, and decide whether to counter, hide your loot or log off quietly. Its range is limited, so it is a tool for the neighbourhood, not a map scanner.
The recipe hides the real price. You need a Level 2 workbench and 200 metal fragments, but inside sits a CCTV camera, which cannot be crafted or researched at all. Early in a wipe you own as many drones as crates have handed you cameras, and a recycler gives the camera back only some of the time.
Tip
Its own text warns that it breaks easily on impact. Fly high and slow around trees and power lines, and land it back at home after a flight, so a stray bullet does not end the trip.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
