Drone

200 metal fragments and a CCTV camera at a Level 2 bench. The camera is loot, so the Level 3 tile prices it rather than asking you to craft it.

About this craft

Don't take the tiles at face value. They show a Level 3 bench and high quality metal, but both belong to the CCTV camera, which can't be crafted or researched; the calculator unfolds it only to show what a looted one is worth. The drone itself is a Level 2 craft, and the metal fragments are the easy part.

Price the whole setup before you spend a camera. A drone is flown from a computer station, and the station takes a targeting computer, another part nobody crafts. Learn the station first: a drone blueprint without one gives you a toy that never leaves the ground. A camera and a computer together are also exactly what an auto turret needs. So the first pair a group loots usually goes on the wall, and the drone comes with the second camera, once the station already stands.

Watch out

Keep a drone you no longer fly in a box. The ordinary recycler returns its camera only half the time.
