Overview
Used to cook advanced recipes for food, fuel, ammunition and explosives.
Build it when plain cooked meat stops being enough. The game calls it the station for advanced recipes in four groups: food, fuel, ammunition and explosives. For most groups the food side is the reason, because that is where pies come from, and pies do more than fill your stomach.
Every pie tops up health, hunger and hydration and adds a short buff on top. A pumpkin pie raises your maximum health for a while, a hunters pie cuts bleeding, and a survivor's pie increases yield when you harvest corpses. The last one is farming food; the first two are fight food.
The blueprint needs a Level 2 workbench and 30 scrap, and the station costs metal fragments, stones and wood. It does not replace the barbeque for cooking steaks in bulk.
Where it earns its place: your group sees an online raid coming and has a few minutes to get ready. A round of pumpkin pies before the first rocket hits means everyone starts the fight with a bigger health pool.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
