Characteristics
Overview
It's people. Survivor's pie is made out of people. Provides a boost to health, hunger and hydration. Increases yield when harvesting corpses for a short time.
The game's text borrows the twist of an old film, it's people, so the filling is no secret. Raw human meat from a dead player goes into it at the Cooking Workbench, and what comes out does two jobs. Like any pie it tops up health, hunger and hydration. Its own trick is a short boost to what you get from harvesting corpses.
That makes it a loop for groups that win fights. Your team just dropped a roaming trio by the river, one of you is hurt and thirsty, and three bodies plus a deer shot earlier lie on the bank. Eat the pie and skin everything in one go: each body gives more, and part of that meat becomes the filling for the next pie.
Tip
The boost is short. Eat it at the first body, not at base before you head out.
It covers the same ground as a basic harvesting tea without berries or a Mixing Table. The tea calls its boost small, the pie gives no size at all, and no text says whether the two add up. Test it on a big kill before you count on it. And do not mix it up with the bear pie, which only changes a tea you drink.
