Characteristics
Overview
An old wooden coffin, can store up to 42 items
Turn the loot room into a crypt for October. The coffin opens like any box, and its own text promises room for 42 items, so you can line a few along the wall and keep meds, ammo and spare clothes in them like you would anywhere else.
The catch is getting one. You cannot craft or research it, so every coffin comes from loot or a trade, while a large wood box holds 48 items for 250 wood and some metal fragments, crafted by anyone. The coffin also needs a long strip of floor, so plan the room before you place it.
Put a gravestone at its head if you are going all the way. When the season ends, the recycler turns it into wood. More seasonal odds and ends sit under Misc.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
