Characteristics
Overview
A colourful beach towel. Placing this will give you a location to respawn.
Spread it out and you have somewhere to come back to after a death. Its game text says so plainly, which makes it one of the few beach items that does something. It does the job of a sleeping bag and costs the same 30 cloth with no workbench, so the row leaves the look as the only difference.
A fresh start on the coast is where it fits. You wake on the sand, pull hemp along the shore and drop a towel behind a rock before heading inland, so the next death puts you back by that rock instead of wherever the game drops you. There is nothing to research either: every player can craft it from the start.
Expect it to act like a bag, cooldown after each spawn included. In the main base a bed still beats it.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
